Just finished my journal club talk. It went ok. I think I just picked a hard, long paper that was difficult to explain. People seemed to think some of the plots were contradictory and I couldn't explain what was going on very well. It also looked like most of the audience stopped paying attention a third of the way through. I think that's impossible to avoid, though.
My parents are visiting Tiff and I in Tucson Nov 5-9 or so. It will be great to have them in town!
